In a world that isn't always safe for Black people, Brittany is a therapist takes pride in creating a secure space for clients to be themselves—whether struggling with anxiety, seeking guidance, or just desiring a relatable confidant. The goal is to support clients in life's journey, acknowledging the world's oppressions and aiming to provide a haven for authentic self-expression. Specializing in self-care and addressing issues such as trauma, self-esteem, gender affirmation, and sexuality, Brittany helps clients discover their inner strength through a strength-based therapeutic approach.Holding a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Washington Adventist University and a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Brittany also serves as the president of the Black People Die By Suicide Too Board of Directors—a role filled with excitement to contribute to the non-profit's impactful vision.

Courtney is a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in New Jersey, serving as the owner and lead therapist at A Resting Place Counseling, LLC. With a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Masters in Social Work from Rutgers University, Courtney is the first in her family to achieve both college and postgraduate education.
For the past 12 years, Courtney has committed herself to empowering individuals and families through her professional and volunteer work. She specializes in addressing issues such as anxiety, trauma, grief, and loss, and readily integrates clients' faith into therapy sessions upon request.
Beyond her clinical practice, Courtney actively engages with her community. She holds roles in the National Council of Negro Women Rahway Section, contributing to the Economic Empowerment & Entrepreneurship committee and serving as Chairperson for the Health and Wellness Committee. Additionally, she plays an integral part in her local church, Agape Family Worship Center in Rahway, NJ, where she serves across various ministries, organizing events for teens and women and coordinating community outreach initiatives.
In her spare time, Courtney is dedicated to promoting mental health awareness and accessibility within her community. She volunteers to connect individuals with therapists and resources, participating in mental health events hosted by churches and schools. Courtney's overarching mission is to empower individuals and families not only to survive but to thrive, advocating for mental health ownership and wellness for all.

Chikeia has a passion for helping and serving others. She is a clinical social worker who also teaches Mental Health First Aid to reduce stigma around mental health. Her professional experience in the areas of higher education, treatment foster care, criminal justice, medical social work, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) allowed her to work with a diverse group of clients in a variety of practice settings. As our recording secretary, Chikeia uses meticulous documentation and advocacy to amplify the organization's impact. This ensures our initiatives and resources address the unique needs and experiences of those we serve.
